Article Processing Charges (APC) Information
AFKĀR (Journal of Islamic & Religious Studies) is full open access and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. This allows the research community and the general public to gain unlimited, free and immediate access to scholarly articles, and to reuse the content freely provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors. To cover the cost for providing our high-quality publishing service and free access to readers, authors pay article processing charges (APC) after internal/desk review. There are no submission charges, and no surcharges based on the length of an article, figures or supplementary data.
If the paper is accepted after the desk review the author(s) will be asked to pay 20000 pkr or 100 USD (from International scholars) and if the paper is declined by any reason, 10000 pkr or 50 USD will be returned to the author (s) excluding the evaluation charges.
We have discontinued print publication from January 2020. Therefore, we are not including any payment for hard copy of the journal.
